About Frayo: who we are, how we're funded, and why you can check every claim
Frayo is an independent Foundayo information and price comparison site. No pharmacy or manufacturer can buy a ranking, the company behind it is on the public record, and part of the profit is pledged to UK charities. Here's the lot, with links so you can verify it yourself.
What Frayo is, in one sentence
Frayo doesn't sell you a pharmacy: it helps you understand the price, the provider and the commercial context around Foundayo (orforglipron) before you decide anything. We are not a pharmacy, clinic, prescriber, manufacturer or marketing agency. We do not sell medicines, issue prescriptions or give personal medical advice, and nothing here replaces a proper consultation with a qualified prescriber.
The company behind the site
Frayo is operated by Medstack Ltd, company number 16439872, registered in England and Wales. That link goes straight to Companies House, because a comparison site asking you to trust its checks should be checkable itself. Medstack also operates our three sister sites: Monj (Mounjaro), iGovy (Wegovy injection) and Ogovy (Wegovy tablet), all run on the same rules you'll read below.
Who runs it
Nick Johnson, founder and healthcare pricing analyst. Nick's background is in IT and technical systems, not the pharmaceutical industry, and a large part of that work has always been taking fragmented, messy information and turning it into something clearer and easier to trust. Looking closely at the UK market for online weight management treatment, he found the same problem at much higher stakes: prices spread across several checkout steps, key fees appearing late, and affiliate bias quietly deciding which providers patients saw first.
Monj was built in 2024 to fix that for Mounjaro, growing out of community-made price lists on Reddit and the unpaid legwork of Facebook group members comparing real checkout prices to protect each other from overpaying. Frayo carries the same spirit to Foundayo from day one of its UK approval. Being outside the pharmacy and manufacturer world isn't a weakness; it's precisely what lets these sites publish awkward findings, add warnings and drop listings without needing anyone's permission. How we're funded, plainly
Frayo may use affiliate links once pricing goes live, which keep the site free and fund the checking work. When you click through to a provider or use a code, a referral commission may be earned. Here's our line in the sand, shared across all four sites:
- Affiliate income does not buy ranking control: tables sort by real cost, not commission.
- No paid placement, ever. Providers cannot purchase favourable wording or "best" labels.
- Trust concerns lead to warnings, caveats or removal, even when that costs us commission.
- Commercial relationships are disclosed so you always know when a link may earn.
How we check providers
Before any pharmacy appears in a Frayo price table, we check its General Pharmaceutical Council registration against the official register, look at the company behind the provider, and review how clearly its fees, delivery costs and offer terms are presented. Prices are compared as the total at checkout: medicine, any prescription or consultation fee, and delivery. Every row carries a last-checked date. Across the network, this checking work has helped identify suspicious pharmacy-style websites, which get escalated through the appropriate reporting routes rather than listed. A listing is never a medical endorsement, and an absence is never an accusation: it may simply mean we haven't reviewed a provider yet.
Medstack commits at least 20% of relevant annual surplus to UK charities, and for selected providers may donate 100% of the affiliate earnings they generate. Support already given, 16 charities and counting, is published as a public record with Charity Commission links so every donation claim can be verified independently. Our editorial standards
- Sources first: claims trace to the MHRA, published trials (the ATTAIN programme), the BMJ or official product information, and we link them so you can check.
- Honesty over hype: we publish discontinuation rates alongside weight loss averages, say plainly when no pricing exists rather than guessing, and note when a rival medicine's trial numbers are higher.
- Freshness: pages carry last-verified dates and get re-reviewed as the SmPC, NICE evaluation and UK pricing land.
- Safety before savings: GPhC verification and red-flag education come before any price, on every page.
