Dayo editorial policy
How we research, write, source, review and correct everything on this site. Foundayo content affects health decisions and money, so the standards we hold ourselves to are published rather than implied.
Last reviewed: 23 August 2026
Our purpose, and its limits
Dayo exists to help UK adults understand Foundayo (orforglipron) and compare what it costs from verified pharmacies. We are an independent information and comparison publisher operated by Medstack Ltd. We are not a pharmacy, clinic, prescriber or manufacturer. We do not sell medicines, issue prescriptions or give personal medical advice, and no page here replaces a consultation with a qualified prescriber.
Sourcing standards
Every factual claim about Foundayo traces back to a primary source, and we link it so you can check rather than trust:
- Regulatory: the MHRA authorisation, the Summary of Product Characteristics and Patient Information Leaflet as published, and the GPhC register for anything about pharmacies.
- Clinical evidence: the published ATTAIN trial programme and peer-reviewed journal reporting, including the BMJ's coverage of the UK approval.
- Guidance: NICE and NHS publications for eligibility thresholds, general health guidance and NHS availability.
We do not source clinical claims from provider marketing, influencer content, press releases or forums. Community discussion is used only to identify which questions people are asking; the answers come from the evidence base, and where a page draws on lived experience we label it clearly, as on our real user questions page.
Honesty rules we hold to
- We publish the unflattering numbers. Discontinuation rates appear alongside weight-loss averages. Where a rival medicine performed better in trials, we say so.
- We do not guess. When UK pricing did not exist, our price pages said exactly that instead of inventing a figure. Absence of data is stated, not filled.
- We do not fabricate signals. No invented ratings, no fake review counts, no manufactured urgency.
- Safety outranks savings. On every page, verification and clinical suitability come before price.
Who writes and reviews
Content is written and reviewed by Nick Johnson, founder of Medstack Ltd and the analyst behind Monj, iGovy and Ogovy. His background is in IT, data and pricing analysis, not clinical practice, and we state that plainly rather than implying medical authorship. Where a page covers clinical territory, our role is to summarise official sources accurately and point you to a prescriber, never to substitute for one.
AI tools are used in our workflow for research assistance and drafting support. Every published page is reviewed, fact-checked against primary sources and edited by a person before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content.
Reviewing and updating
Every page carries a visible last reviewed or last verified date. Pages are re-reviewed when the underlying facts change, and Foundayo is a newly approved medicine, so several triggers are already anticipated: publication of the UK SmPC and Patient Information Leaflet, the NICE evaluation outcome and any NHS availability decision, MHRA safety updates or Yellow Card signals, new peer-reviewed trial data, and the arrival of real UK pricing.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it and update the review date. Material corrections to health or pricing claims are made promptly rather than left to a scheduled review. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page with the page address and what you believe is wrong; we would rather be corrected than be confidently mistaken.
Advertising and commercial content
Dayo may earn commission from tracked links, and that is disclosed on the pages where it applies and in full on our about page. Commercial relationships never determine ranking, wording or inclusion: tables sort by price, and a provider that fails our verification checks is removed regardless of what that costs us. We do not publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles or advertorial dressed as editorial.
